I came in today thinking that it would be a pretty relaxed session in day 1, but was pleasantly suprised. It has been an intensive day of learning and I am very impressed with how well organised our lead team are and how timely everything is managed.
I was very fortunate to go to Pt England School a few years back and see a lot of this technology based teaching and learning.
WHAT I LEARNT TODAY
1. AKO + HANGA + TOHA (TUARI)

2.Pressing COMMAND + 4 (or any other number) can quickly move me to Tab 4
3.NGĀ RŌPŪ KŪKARA - GOOGLE GROUPS
He ara whakawhitiwhiti kōrero - sharing and communicating
4.TE PĀTAKA KŪKARA - GOOGLE DRIVE
Advanced search engine will ease searching for content based on who shared it, the topic and keywords within
5.SHIFT + Z
He poka tata ki tētehi kopaki - To create a shortcut of a document to my own google drive
6.POKA TATA = Shortcut
7.TE TUHINGA KUKARA - GOOGLE DOCS
-Title
-Heading 1 - same for all headings so any formatting will be done across the board
-Table of Contents is created and updated on pressing the update icon
-TOOLS - Voice typing is fantastic but not yet working in Te Reo Māori
8.TE RANGITAKI - Blogging
-I now have my first blog and I have now written my first blog.
